Join us for the 2nd Annual That Business Show Awards Dinner, where we will highlight many different business owners that appeared on the show throughout 2016 and hand out awards. Nominees will be announced on Friday January 6th.  Be sure to save the date! On the #MorningAir today, Jamie and Kelly welcomed Brian Kornfeld, CEO of PopKorn Apps, Tim Pickens, Owner of Wonderfall, Carmen Bland, Attorney with The Bland Law Firm, and Sarah Bingham, Founder of Fast Food Healing, and a Licensed Nutritional Consultant. If you missed out, please don’t hesitate to head to: www.tampabayradio.com to check out our full archive, and you can also visit Jamie Meloni’s YouTube Page at: www.youtube.com/jamiemeloni! First up on the 7AM hour, Jamie Meloni and Kelly Wilson invited Brian Kornfeld of PopKorn Apps onto the discussion! Brian is the Founder of PopKorn Apps where he works to design apps at a fraction of the cost of the typical app designer. Brian has a background in aerospace engineering and utilizes his extensive knowledge of systems and processes to design apps efficiently, thus reducing the time and cost to market versus his competitors. We touched on the RhiKnow App he developed last year that works as a social network to get recommendations from just your friend/peer network on places to eat, travel and more; think of it as Yelp with just recommendations from people you know and trust. This app can be found on iOS and Android operating systems free of charge too.  Brian also elaborates on some of his other creations including Cheap Buzz which is a great way for college students to hear about deals at local bars. CheepBuzz allows for bars to post any special and have the users sort through and see what they might like.  Users can even get better specials by using the “Chick-In” function, which will only work while they are at a given bar during the time of the deal. We also heard about Eazy Menu which is a new and innovative way to help you pick your best option to eat at a large number of restaurants. EazyMenu takes your dietary preferences and restrictions to help comb through large menus while helping you easily read in a dark restaurant, saving you time and stress.  There have been many app success stories in the news lately including PikMyKid which we highlighted last year just after launch and today is in discussion with Microsoft on a deal. With the move from desktop to mobile, apps are in high demand, you just need an idea to get started.  Brian invites you out for a discussion free of charge – give him a call at 727-415-6705 and visit him online at www.popkornapps.com!

Next up on the 7AM Hour was Tim Pickens, Owner of Wonderfall! Tim Pickens is a fourth generation Floridian, minster, inventor, and small business owner who has always been creative; he just didn’t know until about twenty years ago when he was helping his sister set up her Christmas village display.  He made his own snow for the display by rubbing two Styrofoam blocks together above the display. Both thought they should go buy a snow machine for a village display, thinking there would be one.there wasn’t.  Three months later, he sat up in bed provoked by a thought so clear it was almost an image before him:  make a box, create the right size holes in the box floor for the snow material, and slow agitation will evenly and gradually create a gentle snowfall effect. Ever since then, he has been making snow and confetti machines. The effects are as realistic as you want them to be and we make sure you have the best materials to choose from.  Wonderfall is his newest creation and Tim hopes that  you enjoy it; it’s wireless, which allows you to create your own custom falling effect with “snow” and party confetti, and you can easily mount it from a single point. To learn more, head over to: www.mywonderfall.com!

Carmen S. Bland, Esq. is a current member of the Florida Bar in good standing. She served the people of Tampa Bay as an Assistant Public Defender for over eight years. She has represented thousands of clients in the criminal and juvenile justice systems, through motions, negotiations, hearings, and trials.  She cares for her clients and champions their legal positions in the courtroom.  Now, as a private attorney, she is expanding her legal skills to include civil law, focusing on Family and Elder law. As a sole practitioner, she can devote the time and care necessary to each client to personally ensure zealous legal representation. Find out more about Carmen at: www.theblandlawfirm.com!

Sarah Bingham is a licensed nutrition consultant with a master’s degree and more than thirty-five years’ experience counseling and lecturing on all aspects of nutrition throughout the country. Her current focus is in family nutrition, helping parents recover their children from conditions like autism, ADD, ADHD, asthma and other learning/behavior issues. She is also a dynamic and passionate speaker who communicates with clarity, humor and inspiration the simplicity of achieving wellness. Sarah works as the Director of Nutritional Programs for Valle Counseling in Tampa, FL. She is a certified GAPS (Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome) practitioner (see http://www.gaps.me). Sarah is the founder of Fast Food Healing LLC, a personalized in-home nutrition counseling business. Sarah always addresses body, mind and spirit as they are all critical to a healthy body. Full House Liquidation and Wealth Management on #ThatBusinessShow – Featuring Matt DiGennaro and Danny Triplett

Full House Liquidation and Wealth Management on #ThatBusinessShow – Featuring Matt DiGennaro and Danny Triplett

Welcome to the #MorningDiscussion with your hosts, Jamie Meloni and Kelly Wilson! We are very happy to bring our listeners news and happenings from where it matters, our community. Remember that you can join the discussion every weekday morning at 7AM to 9AM on #1250WHNZ and on the web via our live audio and video streams at: www.tampabayradio.com! Tired of politics, weather, and sports? Just want to know what’s going on in your community? We’d agree with you. That’s why That Business Show with Jamie Meloni is on the air in the first place, because we feel that this community needs more exposure and support from those within the community. Tampa Bay has great entrepreneurial promise, and we see that through groups like the Tampa Bay Business Owners – which is why we believe the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well. If you wanted to join the discussion and showcase your business and how it affects the Tampa Bay community, head over to: www.tbsinterview.com! Today on the #MorningAir, Jamie Meloni and Kelly Wilson discussed the recent Presidential Election and how they both feel on that topic. At the 8AM Hour, Jamie and Kelly brought on Danny Triplett and Matt DiGennaro to the show! If you missed out, you can head to: http://www.tampabayradio.com now to get filled in! And also, remember to check out Jamie’s YouTube Page for all the episodes of #ThatBusinessShow at www.youtube.com/jamiemeloni!

For the 7AM Hour, Jamie Meloni and Kelly discussed their thoughts and feelings about the presidential elections and how they felt about the subject. If you didnt catch that segment and wanted to hear their thoughts, then head over to: www.tampabayradio.com to tune in!

At 8AM, Jamie Meloni and Kelly Wilson invited Danny Triplett to the discussion! Danny Triplett has served as the president of Full House Liquidation since he founded the Tampa-based company in 2010. The family-owned business, referred to in short as FHL, is a local Bay area estate-sale company, specializing in entire household liquidations. Triplett is also a certified personal property appraiser with the Certified Appraiser’s Guild of America (CAGA) out of St Louis. Just last summer, he sent one of his client’s original Norman Rockwell pencil etchings off to Sotheby’s in New York City, and saw it sell for $10,000. Over the past seven years, Triplett has seen his company grow, not so much in size, as it has in quality. In the local Bay area estate sale realm, his company is known for conducting high quality estate liquidations. Full House Liquidation has appeared on TV, 5 times over the last 3 years. Everything from their large-scale auction of the entire contents of The Historic Don Vicente Hotel in Ybor city last summer, to their recent liquidation of the multi-million dollar family home of the late world famous opera singer, Maria Callas, in Odessa. Triplett’s company, Full House Liquidation, services four counties throughout the Bay area, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando. The phone calls and emails that continue to come in each week, are no doubt a result of TV shows like American Pickers and Antiques Roadshow. These shows have definitely created an intriguing sensation, which continues to draw national attention to the niche industry of estate-sales. In the U.S. alone, estate sales have become a billion dollar per year industry nationwide. What was once an unknown and untapped market, has now become an intriguing and quickly growing industry that sees people everywhere, scrambling to find their next… “hidden treasure”!

On our last segment we featured Matt DiGennaro, Founder and CEO of Seabridge Wealth Management. Matt and Jamie discussed his background, with over 25 years on Wall Street in the securities and asset management business. He was in the global market, and has expertise learned from being the Managing Director and Head of Bank of America’s $38 billion asset management division for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. Conducting business in over 45 countries, he is quite the experienced and professional asset manager. Matt and Jamie touched on what makes Seabridge Wealth Management different, working for the client instead of the commission, being a “fee only” asset management company, meaning in a nutshell that they don’t have any hidden agendas to work for the commission like other brokers. Working for the best of the client, Seabridge Wealth Management has experts that work to diversify their client’s portfolio, rather than to predict which market is going to be the “hottest” this quarter. He had discussed a great set of tips and information on the show, and that’s insight that only listeners of #ThatBusinessShow will hear! Catch the show every morning at 7AM to 9AM on #1250whnz or head to http://www.tampabayradio.com! After winning his first Startup Weekend, he went on to work for multiple local startups, the Tampa Bay WaVE, a competitive program at CitiBank, and now has found a home at KiteDesk where he implements sales software at growth companies. As the Lead Organizer for Startup Weekend, he gives motivated people the resources they need to start companies. When he isn’t immersed in Tampa’s entrepreneurial scene, you can find Trey producing paintings, digital designs, and multimedia art. He will be discussing how the Startup weekend impacted him on the show, so make sure to #TuneIn #TampaBay! And please consider visiting the event at: https://www.facebook.com/StartupWeekendTampa/!
