The Reproductive Medicine Group on #ThatBusinessShow – Featuring Stacey Vyas, Liz Lopez, and Betsy McCormick

#WorkingWomenWednesday is back! Every Wednesday, #ThatBusinessShow is proud to welcome two wonderful women from the #WorkingWomenofTampaBay Group! The Working Women of Tampa Bay Group is a fantastic networking group made of female talent, all about the business owners in this community! Not just sharing business, but sharing talent, ideas, and success – The Working Women of Tampa Bay Networking Group is certainly one of the Bay’s best groups to be a part of! Make sure to get more information on that at http://www.workingwomenoftampabay.com. #ThatBusinessShow is certainly proud to help out this great community of women. Joining Jamie Meloni from the group today was Betsy McCormick and Liz M. Lopez on the 8AM Morning Hour. However, joining Jamie Meloni on the 7AM hour was Stacey Vyas, Store Manager of the Tampa Bay Microsoft Store! If you missed the show, then head to http://www.tampabayradio.com now to #TuneIN! And you can also find our live stream footage every day at Jamie’s YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/jamiemeloni!

Jamie kicked off the show with a segment that spun off of yesterday’s discussion with Alexander Szinegh, a Hungarian immigrant.  Mentioning that all Hungarians have a little mischief in them, Jamie directed the conversation to his Hungarian grandfather who spent many years in Federal prison, 7 of which at Alcatraz.  His grandfather was a young career criminal having knocked over many a small robbery jobs until hitting a Federal Bank with his then girlfriend and Jamie’s grandmother.  After being on the run for 6 months after that job, the Feds caught up with them in Detroit, having to use tear gas to flush them out of their hotel.  While in Alcatraz, he witnessed the Escape from Alcatraz and was asked to go with Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers, but he did not believe it could be done.  Jamie referenced a new documentary too on the Anglin brothers which appears to show new evidence from their family, which is in Ruskin, Florida, that proves they made it across the Bay.  Today, at the age of 89, he remains one of the last surviving inmates who spent time on The Rock!

Our next segment featured employees from the Microsoft Store located in the International Plaza here in Tampa.  Stacey Vyas, Store Manager for the location, joined us in studio to share with us the history and product offerings from inside the store.  She shared some recommendations for the use of OneNote, a Microsoft product designed to function like a notebook, but with many additional features for business owners.  She elaborates on the assistance they provide to Microsoft users including free product diagnosis and assistance with many of the common issues such as virus removal and product updates.  Their location also has a direct line into Microsoft so they can get problems handled quickly and efficiently.  She was joined in studio by Tim Wersinger, Business Sales Specialist with the Store along with Haele McCann, Community Development Specialist.  They spoke on the second half of the 7am hour and offered their support to local businesses whereby they can come to you and bring their direct Microsoft connection to your store or business by involving them in your business.  We discuss some of the pros and cons of Bing vs. Google search engines as well as Apple vs PC too, a highly divided topic within the business community.  Learn more about them at www.microsoftstore.com/internationalplaza or visit their location in the Mall, located near the Food Court.  Phone is 813-682-1360!
