Sarah was telling our listeners bright and early about everything the UACDC is doing for the community, and how important it is to outreach and connect to the local community to expose the underlying issues which affect many members of our society. Dealing with issues ranging from homelessness to joblessness, the UACDC really #HelpsOurCommunity. Faces of Courage Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 based in Tampa, FL that was founded by Peggie D. Sherry January 6th, 2004. FOC provides day outings and overnight camps for women, children and families touched by all types of cancer and blood disorders. All programs are made available to the participants and their families at no cost. Peggie Sherry took $200,000 of her own savings to create this program that has benefited 6,500 people!
