Jessica Rivelli, CEO and Founder of the Working Women of Tampa Bay Networking Group kicked off the first segment talking about a new fitness craze – Spoxing. This spinning and boxing mix has picked up steam in the Tampa Bay region and on Saturday August 15th, Epic Boxing and Fitness will be holding a nationwide fitness/fund-raiser called “Spoxing for Charity”. This inaugural event will be held at the Epic Studio in Hyde Park from 8:30 am to 1pm and tickets are $30 and all net proceeds go to the Junior League of Tampa. After the inaugural launch here in Tampa, they are excited to take a roving EPIC Boxing & Fitness to CHICAGO, where they will “pop-up” an EPIC studio at the world famous WRIGLEY FIELD! The Chicago “Pop-Up” will benefit Joe Maddons Respect 90 Foundation, a Cubs Charity seeking to provide Chicago’s children and young adults with opportunities to develop championship attitudes through sports while encouraging fitness, scholarship and character development. Last year’s walk raised over $600,000 for the program last year and over 18,000 people participated. The event is a fun filled day that honors those affected with a Survivor’s VIP area and businesses and groups are encouraged to join together to form teams to walk and enjoy the day. There is no registration fee and no fundraising minimum for the walkers/teams and for those that raise $100, you will receive a T-shirt.
